Amplifiers
CP132, CPA401, CPS102
Our original “Four little boxes” amplifier range consisting of the following units:
CP132 Preamplifier
CPA401 Monoblock power amplifier
CPS102 Power supply
We did not make many of these but the customers who bought them seem to be very loyal and are still quite happy with them so we will maintain and service them as required.
Phono stages
CDP 112 Moving Magnet and Moving Coil Phono Stages
Our original dedicated moving magnet and moving coil phono stages were designed to be heard but not seen. However customers wanted to have a “nicer box” so these phono stages became the basis for the CDP122 phono stage which has also now been replaced with our current CDP132.
CDP122 Combined Moving Magnet / Moving Coil Phono Stages
In 2016 we started to work on a switchable MM/MC design using a separate MC “head” amplifier which would be capable of both MM and MC in a single unit.
The end result was the CDP122 which rapidly became our best selling product, particularly by MC users who were impressed by the natural open sound even when compared to units costing a lot more.
After nearly five years of production the CDP122 finally evolved into the new CDP132.

CDP102 Moving Coil Adaptor
The CDP102 was designed as an electronic version of a Step Up Transformer (SOT) used when upgrading to a moving coil cartridge. It worked very well producing a superior musical performance compared to other traditional SOT’s that cost many times the price.
However customers and dealers wouldn’t even listen to it because it was “too cheap” and no one would believe it would be any good except those who actually took the time to listen to it and described it as an “amplifying piece of wire” .
We could have just rebuilt it into a posh box and triple the cost but that is not our way.
So we decided to completely re design it using top quality components designed for audio use, (obviously we did have to put it in a nicer box).
The result was the new MCA1 which will enhance the performance of any moving coil cartridge it gets to play with.
